Big day today - the roof is going up. To make this go quicker a crane arrived to set the trusses up on the studio.

Trusses ready to go. At some point yesterday they put the overhang on the 2 end pieces. No more trailer look for me - this roof will have a nice overhang!

I guess the guys got tired of carrying all the wood to the back and up to the studio - the crane arrives and they get all lazy. This pile of wood is getting ready to go.

Jim's up on the roof directing the crane guy where to put the wood. It ended up on the studio floor.

After the pile of 2x4s they flew in more of the plywood - they were very done with doing it one piece at a time from the back of Eric's truck.

Mucking with the first truss. On the right - underneath Carl, there are currently just 2 boards running along the top of the wall. The solution to fix things was to add a 3rd board.

Next up is to connect the new roof with the old. Which is why the angle was so important. Looks like they did a pretty good job cause it's coming together really nice.

This is the back of the garage - they have to connect it to the existing roof also. They had to do a lot of measuring and thinking to get it to work out and fit right.
