Lisa Call > Tis the weekend and Jim and Carl decided the thing that sounded like the most best way to spend saturday was installing the missing pocket door in my laundry room.

This is the wall where it goes and that's the frame leaning against the far wall.
Lisa Call > This is why I need the door - look at this - just having this door is going to lead to some amazing things for me.

Carl said he wasn't feeling the good life today so maybe it only works for the door owner.
Lisa Call > Not the best of photos but the pocket door frame is in place. Woohoo - I don't have to spend the next 20 years thinking "arg - why is there no door here".

Thanks Jim and Carl!
Lisa Call > The light switches for the laundry room had to move here. Carl got to play electrician for the day. And he says that wasn't the good life? Hm...
Lisa Call > Not to be out done, the drywall hangers also spent the day in my studio. Wonder if they felt any inspiration. It's pretty amazing to watch them hang the drywall. Professional screw gun operators. I wonder what percent of the screws actually go into studs vs. are just decoration on the drywall. Denver requires a screw inspection at this point to make sure there enough. That sounds like a rocking job - dry wall screw inspector - wonder if you can specialize in that if you work for the city?
Lisa Call > I love the door in the air at the top of the stairs -that is just way cool. Mostly cause that is the closet that will be full of all my artwork.
Lisa Call > From the top of the stairs in the studio looking down to the landing. Pocket door frame all covered up. Glad I figured out that door was missing before they started texturing the drywall.
