The christmas tree is now in the hallway (next to the vacuum cleaner). This is pretty 5 star hotel compared to the year we lived in a tent on the beach in new zealand for christmas. There were no xmas trees that year but santa found us just fine as the kids were only 4 and 8. So I suspect santa can find the tree in the hallway. Given my kitchen situation I hope he brings me homemade cookies. It's quite handy the tree is portable as it is probably going to get moved a lot between now and xmas as they are saying they will rip down the wall between the kitchen and hallway next week - which requires putting a big beam in the attic.

Lisa Call > Getting the tyvek on so the south wall can get some siding. Carl did not run away as quickly and ended up in the photo. Or at least part of him.

Lisa Call > They were going to move my existing sink over to where the new sink is going to live but the plumber didn't show up and there are no shutoff values for the water (nice feature). So the sink is still where it used to be. Nice looking kitchen huh. Think I can whip up a batch of cookies?
