Lisa Call > The fancy statue created to hold up the electrical lines has been re-purposed to keep everyone out of the back yard so they don't fall in the big hole and break their neck.

The back door has also been screwed shut. No more trying to get the cats to jump out of it. Bummer.
Lisa Call > Same thing only looking through the garage from the front of the house.

If you are wondering about the black plastic on the wall in the garage - it is covering insulation that is on top of the wall board. Kinda icky. This will be fixed at some point during the construction.
Lisa Call > Jim and helper guy mucking with the tamper thing.
Lisa Call > Carl being really safe on the ladder with the jack hammer to remove the excess portions of the garage foundation that are in the way.Jim says Carl is not the head of their safety committee. I'm thinking they don't really have a safety committee.
Lisa Call > Came home for lunch and found them putting up the forms for the footers.
Lisa Call > Another view of them putting up the forms for the footers.
Lisa Call > October 31 - Day 5 photo
Lisa Call > By end of the day the footers were poured. I'm so bummed I missed the pumper truck for the cement pouring! I had meetings at work and couldn't get away. No way I'm going to miss the pouring of the walls. Jim says he took a lot of photos of the pumper truck so I'll add them in when he sends them.
Lisa Call > I'm getting an idea of how big the studio will be. With it's 10 foot high walls it's going to be awesome. I love that I will have a south facing window in the room. The only south facing window the house will have as the garage is on the south side of the house (someone a bit clueless designed the original house).
