Lisa Call > This side of the addition will be a split level. The lower half will be a garden level basement and will be my bedroom/bathroom/study and the top side will be the new studio.
Lisa Call > I find this so exciting! Look - they are building a studio in my backyard! You can see the sewer pipe in the center.
Lisa Call > The backyard is full of trenches. Hard to see here but the sewer is dug up almost to the back fence.
Lisa Call > Okay - now we are really doing a remodel. The rolloff trash container has arrived.
Lisa Call > More sewer photos - roots were getting into the seams.
Lisa Call > Yes - yet another sewer photo. I have this thing about sewer lines. In my last house (brand new) the sewer line was not connected to the house so after a few floods and 3 excavations of my front yard it was fixed. So, well, now I'm fixated on the sewer being done correctly.
Lisa Call > The trench next to the sewer line is where they new sewer pipe will go. They will get to live side by side for a while. The rocks are to pack to new pipe. Mystery solved.
