Lisa Call > Six guys in the yard milling about.
Lisa Call > This mound of dirt in the front yard is here for a while, until they are ready to back fill after the foundation is done. It will encourage the trick-or-treaters on halloween.
Lisa Call > Temporary sewer in place. They are measuring and putting in rebars to marks where to put the footers now. I think friday they will put in the forms for the footers.
Lisa Call > Tada - temporary sewer line is in place. The real one will be put in after the foundation is poured. Both will be in there next to each other and later on the big switch from old to new will happen.
Lisa Call > Jim and Carl and the guy who's name I do not know yet are measuring and getting things ready so the forms for the footers can be put in place. I hope they didn't have a bunch of "I don't knows" during this part.
Lisa Call > The rocks are all lined up along the sewer trench. The diggers are gone while all the foundation stuff is going on. They'll be back someday.
Lisa Call > My building permit in my front window. It says I have to pay the people doing the work. Wow - I didn't know that. Glad the posted that in my window to remind me. I like the reflection of the big dirt pile in my front yard in the window.
