Lisa Call > Digging begins.
Lisa Call > Totally messing up the yard. This part of the yard is the only part of the yard that actually had grass in it. After being a rental for 10 years maybe the tred marks are an improvement.
Lisa Call > The digging process. 1) Get a scope of dirt....
Lisa Call > ...2) Drive it through the garage (which explains why the back of the garage was ripped down first...
Lisa Call > ...3) Dump it into the truck...
Lisa Call > ... 4) Grab a scoop of rocks from the front yard and bring them back through the garage and dump them in a pile. To be used for ? Who knows. I think something with the sewer pipe - which runs through the back of the yard and we'll find out tomorrow.
Lisa Call > This is the pile of stuff removed from the house (with the rocks behind it). In the foreground is the clever structure Jim built to lift the power lines higher out of the digger's way.
Lisa Call > Progress by the end of the day.
Lisa Call > The thing in the middle of the photo is the stump from my crab apple tree. The diggers are sleeping in the yard overnight - what do you suppose the chances are they left the keys?
Digging begins.
