Lisa Call > Building the final section of the west wall. It had to be done in place because the electrical lines run through the window. I think that might be a bit drafty as a final solution so the electrician was out today and will move the lines tomorrow.

The electrical in my house is a joke. They trip a breaker about once an hour with all their tools. I know about it inside the house right away as I have my Universal Power Supply for my computer plugged into the same circuit and it beeps as soon as the power goes off. A few seconds later they come into the kitchen to reset it.
Lisa Call > So I walk around to take this picture and - um - the windows for the studio are the wrong size. They framed them to 4' but they were supposed to be 5'.

Err. Oops.

Solution - they all headed to lunch. I headed to work.
Lisa Call > Home after work and magically the windows are now framed to 5 feet. I wasn't around to watch and maybe am glad I don't know what they did to fix this little problem.

I wonder if they'd be upset if I changed back to 4' windows tomorrow. Ha.
Lisa Call > End of the day photo. They are cleaning up for the weekend. I think I might hire Eric to clean my house after this is done - he's quite tidy.
Lisa Call > The other thing that happened today was the installation of the windows in my bedroom and my daughters. For a while they sat in the garage awaiting plastic to block off the work area - gotta keep the dust off the art!
Lisa Call > The windows installed. They look great - I think the drooping tar paper makes for a nice look also.

See that dish TV hanging on the side of my house? Want it? I have no use for the thing given that I don't have a TV and have no plans to add one.

My house is now put back together after this little window event. Tomorrow it's back to the studio to make some art. Probably some Home pieces since that's about the only thing on my mind these days.
