Lisa Call > The state of the indoor plumbing this morning. This is the new master bathroom.
Lisa Call > When I got home at lunch it took me a while to figure out Carl and Colin had been doing all morning. Then I noticed the framing was missing around the garage door.

Oops - both it and the laundry room door had to be moved over a few inches cause they didn't leave enough room for the overhang on the second storry. In between the 2 doors will go my coat closet so both had to move.

Doesn't make for very impressive progress pictures.
Lisa Call > Although they also did this - nailed a big tall 2x4 to the side of the house. Cool huh. That makes for a nice picture. That's about how high the final roof line will be.

Today I was not so jealous they get to work outside and I have to sit at a cube - it was pretty cold out all day.
The other thing Colin did this morning was slide off my roof. It rained a bit and froze over night so there was a thin layer of ice on everything. He landed in the front yard but I couldn't find a dent or any blood and I hear he's fine.
Lisa Call > Better view of the plumbing for the master bath. It's not super big but Jim managed to fit a big bathtub in so that's way cool.
Lisa Call > Waiting to hook the new line inside to the line outside, which they did a few hours after this photo was taken. This is the important step that wasn't done at my last house. No one bothered to hook the outside line to the inside line, which doesn't work out so well in the long run.

I've done a bunch of laundry since it was hooked up and so far none of the water has ended up in the dirt so I'm thinking it's looking pretty good.
Lisa Call > I was thinking this could be the basement but I think it's the trash can instead.
Lisa Call > Jim arrived around lunch, which is usually the end of any work getting done for the day (according to Carl) but all afternoon there was a lot of noise coming from the studio as Jim and Carl banged on things.
Lisa Call > The pile of wood appeared to get smaller today also. Although it could be they are just spreading it around the yard and it just looks like it's getting smaller. Kinda like my kids used to do with the food on their plate when they were little - they didn't eat it - they just rearranged it.
Lisa Call > But hours and hours went by and they were up there banging around.
I was thinking this could be the basement but I think it's the trash can instead.
