Lisa Call > Today the electrical fairies wired the studio for lights. I'm putting a small fortune in lights up. I had crappy lighting in my old studio so time to actually see what I'm doing in this one. I wonder how actually being able to see colors clearer will effect my work. We will find out!
Lisa Call > More light stuff - in addition to florescents I'm doing track lights along 2 of the design walls.
Lisa Call > heating stuff being done - cool heating vents that go inside walls - they look distinctly like trash bags. Let's hope they don't stick nails through it when they do the drywall.
Lisa Call > At the end of tuesday they were back outside working on siding also. First the fancy scaffolding had to be moved. I got a demo on how the clamps work - pretty cool.
Lisa Call > They didn't get to the siding until later in the day because first they removed my back door and window - so now I can't eat breakfast and watch them mill about in the addition.
Lisa Call > This is where the door and window used to be. Standing in the soon to be laundry room here.
Lisa Call > From inside the house - the new kitchen. Door and window gone and moving the cabinets over to where the real ones will live. They apparently think I am very short as these are hung really low - which, well, I'm not that short but it's kinda nice.

They also think I'm leaning to one side cause they are crooked. This is not quite as convenient as them being pretty low.

Carl did point out that the clock was hung straight. Excellent!
Lisa Call > They put up a cabinet over by the washer and dryer also. To keep things symmetrical it's crooked also. So thoughtful of them!
Lisa Call > Look - water pipes in the middle of my house! Tomorrow they'll get the plumbing hooked up and move my sink over here - the future location of the island. My son is most excited about having a satellite sink. This is how it will be for xmas - fun!
