Today I hiked the same hike I did 2 years and 1 week ago. The aspens were a bit passed peak but still gorgeous.
The trail is 3.3 miles long with an elevation gain of 1630 feet. In other words - a LOT of uphill.
The start of the hike is along a drainage - for about a mile the hike looked like this.
